Retrospects

artist/photographer
Well, it’s been quite some time since I’ve posted anything on my blog!
Having recently completed my studies in graphic design, a friend of mine, and fellow graphic designer, came up with the fun idea of a design challenge.
The challenge, which both of us were to accept, was to make the dreaded Comic Sans typeface work in a design. At the end of the challenge, we have to hang each others wonderful masterpieces up on our walls.
In other words: This design better look good!

So, in regards to making a pretty design, I’m fairly certain that I failed (sorry Chris!) Instead, I chose the kitschy-est approach that I could, in hopes that maybe Comic Sans wouldn’t look SO bad surrounded by pop culture images.
This piece is somewhat of an homage to designers and the absurd requests that we deal with from clients on a regular basis.
Can you make Comic Sans look good?

With the beautiful ceremony, the beautiful setting and the beautiful couple, I don’t think anyone could have asked for a more perfect wedding!

Here are some of my favourite photographs that I captured on Anthony and Nicole’s big day.
